Department of Education, Haryana

We have signed the first-of-its-kind partnership with the Education department of Haryana wherein we will be proactively working with the Government school of Kheowali village to offer holistic education to students. This includes and is not limited to providing teachers at the school for which there is a shortage, organizing educational trips, building an interactive STEM program, and much more. We hope to create a strong example of a well-run government school where quality learning is accessible to all.

She’s the First

JIVAM Foundation is part of She’s the First’s incubation program for NGOs where they guide us on organizational pieces of running an NGO such as fundraising, impact measurement, and advocacy. Along with this, we are given provided support in designing policies and programs that are inclusive and empowering to young girls. In 2022, our Founder- Isha Godara had an opportunity to represent JIVAM Foundation at STF’s summit in Nairobi, Kenya.

Haryana Police

We have partnered with the Haryana police on their campaign to make Haryana drug-free. We have organized town halls, focus groups, and other events to sensitize villagers and youth about the consequences of drug addiction. Due to our advocacy efforts, Inspector General of Police, Mr. Rakesh Arya adopted Kheowali village as part of his pilot project to make certain villages drug-free. Dr. Arpit Jain (IPS) has appointed our Founder- Isha Godara as Youth Ambassador for the Sirsa district to inspire other young people to get involved in the community.
